Harvey Morton is lots of things.

About Me

Social media consultant. Content creator. TV & film editor. Film nerd. Fast thinker. Slow talker. Radio host. Published author. Public speaker. Proud anti-bullying ambassador. Proud mentor. Proud Sheffielder. Good egg.

Mostly, I plan and run social campaigns that engage and inspire your audience. Call it magic if you want.

But Harvey Morton is not a wizard.

At school, they called me Harry Potter.

I fit the profile. It’s the hair and glasses. Not the fact I fly around on a broomstick and have a natural talent for Quidditch.

Sadly, the name wasn’t used in a nice way. I was bullied for how I looked and spoke. Laughed at for being creative. Called a geek for starting a business selling keyrings and greeting cards at 13 years old. Called worse for starting another business—Harvey Morton IT Support—at 15 years old.

But with self belief and the support of family and some teachers, that second business kept going and growing, evolving and problem-solving. Becoming a freelance design and marketing agency. Then a specialist social media consultancy.

Some years, several awards and hundreds of successful projects later, here I am:

Harvey Morton. Social Media Expert

for entertainment brands and brands that want to entertain.

Experienced in social media & influencer marketing

The Harvey you get still looks like Harry Potter. I still talk slowly. I’m still creative. And I’m still passionate about business. Some things never leave you.

But this Harvey has a decade of experience in social media and influencer marketing.

I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t to help you solve problems, get attention and stand out.

I’ve worked with brands including RJG Media (whose clients include Working Title Films), Two Daughters Entertainment and Alton Towers. Featured on BBC News and radio. Interviewed movie stars on red carpets. Written for publications like The Sun, Tyla and Happiful Magazine. Hosted a radio show on Queerly. Spoken to audiences across the country in my role as Youth Employment UK Ambassador. Worked closely with young people as a mentor and Anti-Bullying Ambassador for the Diana Award.

And published a book about the entire journey to help others stick two fingers up to bullies and do what they love.

What's next? Hopefully, something involving you.
